He's Real.....

I recently spoke with Chris Caffes and There is no doubt in my mind that he is the real Chris Caffes that is listed in the police report. The 1978 thing was a typo is all. Do a reverse # search on the phone number he listed here and it comes right back to him in Minnisota. Do a GOOGLE search on his address listed in the police report.... 4509 Adams Carlsbad,CA and you will find the property that he lived at and ran "The Restaurant" (Yes,it was named "The Restaurant") at is currently for sale. When I showed him this real estate site where his old place in Carlsbad was for sale he was very happy to see it and even put it up on his facebook page where his old friends from Carlsbad made several comments about it.

If you feel that some of his story just doesn't jibe with what is on the internet about Annissa Jone's death just remember that you read it on the internet and he was there the morning of her death. He knew Helen Hennesey and got a call from her that morning telling him that Anissa was dead and he needed to come to the house as nobody knew what to do. He then went to the house with his friend Steven Calnan (the name is mispelled in the police reprt here on this site) After he got there he called Martin Modiano an older associate of his from Anaheim and he came down to Oceanside to check out the situation.

From there the call was made to the operator reporting the death and a little while later the police and rescue people showed up.

He is definitely the real Chris Caffes who was there that morning.
