lots and lots of children playing in the playground where anissa broke her leg. the scene has to depict the joy, the innocence, the hope, the everlasting future which children experience.
colors are creamy, colors are three dimensional, you can smell the colors, you can touch the colors. watch the movie "the scent of green papaya" by vietnamese director tran anh hung, i have no idea how he made colors become textures, smells, and memories, but he did, that's what i want visually. anissa plays, she plays with paul, she calls out to paul. all around her children play, children's laughter abounds, exuberance and joy are all around. some seconds are in slow motion, then regular time, then back to slow motion, back and forth between real time and slow motion. then anissa swings from the monkey bars with the happiest smile of childhood, she slips, she falls, she hits the ground in slow motion, when she hits the ground it's back to regular motion, she keeps laughing, then a moment of confusion comes into her face, she looks down at her leg, then back at the camera, then her face conveys pain, tears start to fall down her face, the children around her stop, turn and point at her, paula runs to her and picks her up in her arms.
the scene must convey the paradise that is childhood, and when anissa breaks her leg, paradise is lost. paula picks anissa up, seemingly to help and rescue her, taking her out of paradise. paradise has been lost.
