It's certainly seems like some writers should be interested in Anissa's story--with the ambitious mother, her talent, the good the bad and the ugly, the setting and culture around her, the characters all around her, the wrong "boyfriend", lots of drama, etc....
There have been numerous other books and movies based on child actors that made it into pop culture on Judy Garland, Lillian Roth ("I'll Cry Tomorrow"), Edie Sedgwick (teenage socialite), and many others.
Maybe if there was the internet or TMZ back then, I can imagine there would have been more questions, investigations, and curiosity.
