it's my paraphrase, but Fran has said in interviews that when she was having her cancer surgery, the doctor said "I guess this is what you get to look like on the outside, when you look like THIS on the inside"
I know I joke around that Fran is a 'freak of nature' and that she must have a painting of herself that's aging in her attic...but truthfully....that body has betrayed her. That "toned, taut stomach" has a hysterectomy scar hidden in their somewhere, and underneath those "pushing the envelope" outfits lies an estrogen patch.
We may "envy" that body on the outside...but I wouldn't want those "insides" for love or money.
