Hi all! I'm trying to navigate my way around the boards here and I haven't been able to find a place to introduce myself, so I figured this section was the best place to do it. Anyway, my name is Lauren, I'm 20 yrs. old, and I'm Canadian. I'm a huge Fran and Nanny fan and I think this site is exceptional! Very few shows have ever made me laugh as much as The Nanny or pulled at my heartstrings the way that show does so brilliantly at certain times. I'm SUCH a Max+Fran shipper, they are my super couple, I adore them to death! <333 Aside from Fran, my favourite characters on the show are Niles and Sylvia because they're both just too hilarious! And then C.C., oh gawd!! hahah! I am a big supporter of Fran's cancer organization Cancer Schmancer and I applaud her so strongly for all of the fabulous work she is doing to revolutionize women's healthcare in America (and ultimately I think, the world). <br>
I've connected with a few members of the boards here on YouTube, such as FrannyDaNanny (Hi hun! lol) and I hope to make friends with many other Fran/Nanny fans on here!! See you all around! Bye!

Yeah, I love being called Laur!! That's awesome to hear that we're really similar in our tastes in the show, its characters, and Fran in general! YAY! lol..I haven't written any Nanny fan fics yet, nope, but I want to really badly! I'm a new member on the site, yeah hehe. I have a whole bunch of ideas for fics (some are re-writes of actual episodes, some are for plots that take place after the series has ended, some are funny, some dramatic, some romantic)..I just can't settle on a single idea! lol So I keep on brainstorming and hope I'll come up with a winner eventually. Do you write Nanny fics yourself hun?

re: the emoticons. Try dragging them into your message instead of clicking. Some browsers don't work with the clicking, some do. Some need dragging. And remember to leave a space between what you write and the code for the emoticon.

I know that Barb responded to ur question but if u still can't post the emotions what i ended up doing is: fully high lighting the emotion i wanted, right clicking it while still having it high lighted and copied the link location and pasted on the the message that i was writing!!!*

And no Laur, Laur i don't have time to write fan-fics for now i only read them but i'm running out of Hot rated "R" ones that r for ppl my age i'm 23 !ok don't think i'm some 60 year old overheated Grannie!!!* i still have a good 47 yrs before that happens!!!*

But i'm glad u wanna write some fics though plz give me some really good ones to read!!!* which i know they will be, but i also i know that the rules of the bord say not too.. and thankfully any users that have written some "R" fics do state in their descriptions that they are rated "R".

For now i read them that way whenever the work comes palling in the office i can stop and continue reading the fic some other time!!!* Lol!!!*
