Response to L/F KC-135 R decals

and I used to build kits for other squadron members. I learned several things:
1.No one, made decals or even a decent kit of the KC-135R.
2. The only kit available was horribble and needed a lot of work to build into a decent model.
3. NO ONE was ready to pay me what it was really worth to build these models!

There were even a few resin parts available for it such as a pubs rack, a galley and wheels for it. I don't know anyone who still has ANY of those anymore. I built one for my Chief and it was the only one with any exras in it. I believe it's still in my old squadron's showcase on Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. I painted the tail flash by hand so that it "kind of resembled our aircraft at the time. That was about it for markings, since no one made them for the 916th Air Refueling Group!
