Response to tamiya king tiger painting accuracy

The tanks given in their painting guides are usually well known and you can track down photos of them yourself. Sometimes their color recommendations arent as good as they could be, since Tamiya references their own paints. An example of this is they usually recommend "Dark Green" for the German Dark Green camo, but thats not a great match and many people feel IJA Green (or a different brand of paint) is a bit more true to life. But the basic instructions and decals are geenerally in the ball park.

Italeri is probably the worst when it comes to camo and marking info. Dragon has some suspect info also.
