The whole kit really is somewhat of a mess, and its not just the missing generator...

I would go to the AFV Modeller magazine web sitehttp://www.afvmodeller.com/ and buy the download PDF articles on the AFV kit and the real equipment. It will be a huge help in building/correcting the model. There is not much info available but this is about the best source I have come across.

I have the Blast set, and it is very well worth getting. It solves the missing generator problem, the bogus roof issue (AFV added a fake roof with hatches that shouldnt be there), missing parts for the search light mount, etc. Yes you could make this yourself, but why reinvent the wheel in this case... the Blast set is very well done and you get a lot of stuff.
