I just finished a DML 1/72 Sherman and I want to add an antenna to it. I tried making one out of stretched sprue but I can't get one that is perfectly straight, no matter what I try they always have some sort of arc to them. This is my first armour kit in about 30 years and only have online references and from what I can tell the antenna are all pretty straight so I was wondering what people use for them. I was thinking of piano wire or some other stiff wire but I'm not sure about how the constant diameter would look, there seems to be some sort of taper in the pictures I've seen.
