Response to Dark Yellow on German vehicles Tamiya XF-60?

Tamiya Dark Yellow is to dark, I have cut it with just flat white (never thought of deck tan) and like the look. Normally I use a Model Master II paint Panzerdunklegelb, it's both in enamel and acrylic, I think it's called that and the way it's spelled. Mike
