You can take a Dragon "Thunderbolt VII" M4A3E8 kit and a Dragon "Operation Cobra" M4A1 kit, and swap the suspensions. You will need the late turret shell with the small loader's hatch from the Thunderbolt VII kit as well (that kit includes a choice of two turret shells). Upside is, you still have two buildable kits at the end of the day. You'll need to scratchbuild the little threaded rod and tube fender supports for the M4A1 hull, as these were adjustable in length, whereas the welded hull version used identical sections of steel u-channel. As mentioned, this variant missed the war, but was supplied as military aid to rebuild the French and Italian armies after the war, as well as serving with US Natonal Guard and Army reserve units into the 1950's. They did see action with the California National Guard against the Martians in the filming of George Pal's science fiction film, "The War of the Worlds," starring Gene Barry.
