Response to oddballs sherman

I thought about doing the conversion without the Formations set, and yes you can do it yourself... I always thought the Formations set was overpriced but did not realize what all you get in it... Plus the detail is a zillion times better than the old Tamiya and Italeri stuff...

You get -

complete resin turret with all fittings and details

metal gun barrel and muzzle brake

all new hatches, periscopes, fittings, tools, detail parts for the hull

new set of pressed dished roadwheels

new headlights and appropriate MV lenses

photo etch

tow cable and ends

loud speaker

new accurate and detailed transmission cover

decals for Oddball's tank

good instructions (rare for resin)

Its for the older Tamiya M4A3 but basically all you use is the lower hull, upper hull shell, and the suspension units...
