Sherman dozer question... (David Nickels are you there?)

David, I think we chatted about this before?

I want to build a 1/48 Sherman Dozer (HVSS), with the 105mm howitzer, used in Korea, by the USMC Combat Engineers.

I have in my stash several 1/48th scale kits that I will be using. Hobby Boss' M4A3 Sherman (VVSS), M4A3E8 Sherman 'Korean War' (HVSS), and a recently aquired Bandai M4A3 105MM Sherman (VVSS), and the Verlinden Sherman dozer set.

I'm using the Bandai 105mm turret as a master, and modifying the Hobby Boss turret, so I can still build or sell the Bandai kit later.

I remember hearing something about the dozer mounts being slightly different for the VVSS/HVSS Shermans.

So, my question is, will the Verlinden kit work on the HVSS sherman, being it shows a VVSS Sherman on the box or will I be tearing my hair out later when I start this little Franken Sherman?
What will I need to modify, if anything, to make this all come together?
