Response to The Italeri M1A2 can be made into a decent

The now out of production Italeri kit had a MSRP of $47 which is just $2 less than the currently in production Tamiya kit. Italeri's replacement with a resin interior runs around $100. The tracks are really not good though. When I fooled around with the Italeri kit a few years ago I used a set of Armour Track replacements. Its not a "bad" kit but its not stellar.

If you shop around and find it cheap its okay, although you can probably find the Tamiya kit cheaper too.
