Both Trumpeter and AFV Club Stryker models have dimensional issues - none is entirely correct, but in my opinion AFV Club looks better. It also have much better details, so it is my preferred choice.

And no, Eduard slat PE is certainly not your only choice. You can also get slat PE from Griffon, Voyager and Pro Art. All are expensive and I don't know which is best, as I didn't use any of them yet. Pro Art set includes also resin parts, so may be a bit easier to use than others. Real Model also offer slat set, but I believe it includes Eduard parts.

DML Stryker project has been shelved for now, so don't expect it any time soon, if ever.
