Tracks come in a black-color and you have to attach the ends together. I know that the Grant/Lee kits from the original releases had the tracks in a silver color and...I thought that they also came as one big 'loop' for each track where you you just fit the track over the whole bogie/wheel assembly when you slid the rear wheel on.
Anyway, the tracks are quite maleable and seem to be not as stiff as the original ones. They're a rubber-ish material, not sure if that means they're vinyl or not. Many thanks for the tip about the Krylon Fushion to keep the paint on; I'll make sure I pick up a can of that!
