Response to Dragon and Trumpeter Neubau-Fahrzeug tanks

Neubaufahrzeug kit to be released so I don't know why they would have rushed it. If it is jacked up it is simply becuase they screwed up. I have the kit and it looks great in the box but I haven't started putting it together yet as you have. I have read alot of the threads about the problems associated with it though. The turret differences may be correct since the number 2 turret was bolted and the #3-5 were welded and simplified. Saul Garcia and I discussed the Trumpeter track dilemma you mentioned and came to the same conclusion that the pins really need to be pressed in hard. I think that the pins are a hair too short and this is what causes the problems. I am waiting for the Friul tracks before I start on my kits. Like you I plan on doing all five and have the Trumpeter #1, CH #2, Dragon #3-5 and now need to get the Amusing and Trumpeter #3-5 to finish it off. I will not be doing the refitted #1 (at least I am not planning to). Nice job on your builds by the way.

Roy
