For those of you enarmored by the Bronco A13 and similar period pieces. Khaki Green No.3 a.k.a. G3:
Mix 3 pts XF62 + 2 pts XF59. This colour is slightly less rich than on a 1940 motorcycle part in original paint and slightly less brown than a 1939 steel helmet in original paint. This is the colour introduced in mid-1939 as a basic colour for all vehicles and used until phased out in 1941.

Drak Green G4. This is the colour used as the disrupter over Khaki Green G3 from 1939 till late 1940 when it was phased out due to essential chemical shortages.
Mix 3 pts XF61 + 2 pts XF58. No original colour yet found. This colour is near matched to the colour I use and is based on the use of a low tonal contrast as may be seen on contemporary B/W photographs and a few in colour.
