half track up to a 3 ton half track, a Opel Blitz could pull it too, along with 3 ton trucks. Mike

Thanks, I was thinking the same, but wasn't sure. Couldn't find any pictures of this type gun being towed.

The normal prime mover for the 3.7cm Flak 37.....

was the SdKfz 11 3-ton halftrack tractor, which also towed the 2cm Flakvierling 38. Note that later in the war, with production unable to keep up with losses, alternate vehicles were often used, i.e., the Steyr 1500A was used to tow the 7.5cm Pak 40. On roads, many lighter vehicles could tow loads normally towed by the heavier halftracks. In an emergency, you use what you have.
