How about manufacturing a fret of simple brass strips.
I'm thinking of a fret that has a variety of widths ranging in
width from, say .015 to 1/4 inch. I find it difficult to cut
narrow strips of brass that are of consistant width and
when I do; the edges are not smooth as are the edges on photo etched parts.
These brass strips would be useful as shields surrounding gun
tubs or as bands on masts or yards. I can think of other ship
model applications too numerous to mention.
Keep it simple; just a bunch of strips. The first one that makes it gets an order from me.
