LCM-6 hull colors

I conducted a google search but did not come up with any real information on the correct hull color for an LCM-6 in WWII. I have always thought APA's were painted in a dark gray cammo scheme late in the war. Thus the LCM's and LCVP's would be the same...dark hulls and not a haze gray nor "battleship gray".
Am I correct in this assumption?
