Response to Life aboard an aircraft carrier

Average deployement is 7 plus months in the gulf or the other direction. Average work days is about 11 hours. Nukes also spend inordinate time training and keeping their quals with NRC, etc. Access is as the other gent says but they are usually pretty whipped.

Any idea which carrier- my son is on the USS Carl Vinson
