Response to Fat fingers...

WWII ships did a lot to "preserve" the camouflage. Depth charges on destroyers were re-painted to match camouflage. Boats and rafts were as well, even to the point of being in two different colors to match a dazzle pattern they "covered" when looking from the side. I've seen a lot of variation on the 40mm gun barrels; I presume that heat would burn the paint off and they would repaint when out of the action zone or depending on the captain/leadership's desires.

I helped Dragon develop that kit and spent a lot of time looking at photos of her; I can't recall anything that stood out really as breaking the camouflage in either scheme other than just normal weathering. Gas lines, perhaps
