Mine arrived today, and it's great, but am I missing something?

Response to For anyone interested I'll have the new tooled Tamiya Yamato in my hands tonight.

It looks like Tamiya expects you to buy their separate degaussing cable set? For a kit of this price it should have been included, or better molded on. Given that Yamato and Musashi were launched after the war started, would they have ever been a time where they were operational that they didn't have the degaussing cables? The picture of Yamato on builder's trials in October 1941 over at combined fleet.com seem to show she had the cables even then.

Unlike the their Mogami class kits, where the Mikuma represents the pre-war version which didn't have the cable, there seems no reason Tamiya shouldn't have molded or included the cables. It's a great kit, but for shame, Tamiya!
