Response to still you have tons of choices

Here's some that were one-offs:

Lindberg Lightship Nantucket
Lindberg Revenue Cutter Harriet Lane
(multiple) Cutty Sark
Revell (and Encore) USS Olympia
Glencoe SS United States
Revell RMS Queen Mary
Revell Schooner Yacht America
Lindberg Sea Witch
Revell HMS Bounty
USS Nautilus
USS Monitor (sure, she spawned a whole new class of ships called Monitors, but the original was unique, AFAIK.)
CSS Virginia (most Confederate ironclads were one-offs)

I assume you're asking because you don't know much about ships, and want to avoid buying, as an example, a model of the USS New Jersey, and then discovering it is 99% the same as the USS Iowa kit you already built. Lots of warship kits have been released in multiple boxings of sisterships, with no real changes besides the name on the box and decals inside.

But there are other cases where there are ships with multiple members of the class, where only one ship of the type has ever been kitted.

For example, the Lindberg "Coast Guard Patrol Boat" is a model of the USCG 95 foot long WPB. The kit is sold under the generic name, even though there were dozens of boats in the class. The Airfix Vosper MTB is the same situation.
