Considering building the Revell Snowberry again.
Are there any other players in the aftermarket section other than Sirmar and Parkin?
Thanks Les

Not being funny: what else could you possibly need?

If you want high end - go Parkins GLS; economy class go Sirmar. I believe at least one company even offers a replacement hull. That gives you enough options to replace every part in the kit!

As I pointed out I was fully aware of those suppliers. My question was were there any other companies apart from those. I did know of the alternate hull manufacturer I have dealt with him.

Here's some stuff.

Depending upon how your preferred Flower was armed, you may try White Ensign for aftermarket Oerlikons, and the like. Bob Pearson of Canada made some decals for the model. I have a set, and they're very nice! Go here:http://www.cbrnp.com/RNP/Flower/SALES/index.htm I purchased a set recently, and he told me that his computer was dying, so there may not be anymore. If you want a set (many RCN names and pennants) contact him quickly to see if he has any left. Oh, and flags:http://www.cbrnp.com/RNP/Flower/REVIEWS/Hawk_RCN_Flags.htm

Hope this helps!

Robert

PS. Which Flower are you building? I'm in the planning stages of an HMS Loosestrife or HMS Poppy.

Thanks Rob for that info. I sent an email regarding the transfers straight away..so here`s hoping.
I knew of Bob Pearsons excellent web site but had forgotten it and it is a great help.
I am leaning towards HMCS Wetaskiwin pictured on that site. Looks interesting and different.
Thanks again.

Raboesch does not make scale props

They are made for functioning model boats and the blades are flat pieces of brass cut and bent to approximate shape. They look approximately correct, but do not have varying blade thicknesses like the real props do.

Well i have one for my flower and looks far better than revells. Blades are not flat and

you can make them sharp with a file. I put mine on acid and looks very realistic at least to my eyes.
