You went to an American Store, bought a German Kit, from a brand established in the United States, of a Nazi subject, made in China, and paid 25% of its msrp... and probably everybody still made a profit....you left happy, and somewhere deep in the bowels of Hobby Lobby's model section, that kit is getting reordered, to be put back in to the same spot yours occupied, so, it too, can be sold for next to nothing....

....then you can drive home on a hot day in a car with air conditioning good enough to see your breath in it....
