Need some help please.

Does anybody know where I might find the names of the ships used to transport US troops during WWII?

TIA,
Andrew

See the APA listing at Navsource.org

http://www.navsource.org/archives/10/03/03idx.htm

It lists the Navy's attack transports. Search the site also for APs, personnel transports

Navsource, and you could also try....

TONS of photos, and links to ship histories in the DANFS archives.

Now, if only some of the most vital ships of WW2 would get the model attention they so deserve. New 1/700 Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, West Point, Wakefield, Hermitage, etc...in their wartime fits would be fabulous. Or dare I suggest even 1/350? wink.gif

....armed wartime fit conversion kits in 1/560-1/600 for the Revell/Airfix Queen Mary and Elizabeth kits, respectively?
