Building my first real naval vessel, the new Revel Fletcher. I'm not atttracted to the camo pattern but want to the more streamlined two tone gray. Can anyone advise me on good color matches? Thanks....

Measure 21 is Haze Gray over Navy Blue

June 29 2009, 5:11 PM

Decks were 20B Weatherdeck Blue. Haze Gray (5H) is an attractive lavender blue gray. Navy Blue (5N) is a dark blue.

The best (most accurate) out of the bottle paints for the measure are those from White Ensign in their Colourcoat line of paints.

Pollyscale makes some acrylics which are close, but not totally correct.

I do that too sometimes...

It's easier if you keep in mind that Ms 22 was just an updated Ms 12

Graded schemes went from Measure 2 to 12 to 22
Solid went from Measure 1 to 11 to 21.

So ONE color ends in one and TWO colors ends in two (yes, I know this pneumonic device breaks on Measure 2)
