model of this ship. Because it wasn't fitted with radar, I found that generic railing, ladder, and ship's fittings sets sufficed to supply all the etch I needed. White Ensighn Models produce suitable stched frets in 1/350 at very reasonable prices.
I am just starting my Pola and have elected to use and modify an Eduard p/e set #53002 I have for the Tamiya Bismarck. Plenty of railings and also water tight doors, port holes, etc. I believe the radar parts can be cut down to make convincing vent gratings also. Plenty to work with to spruce up this cruiser.
