I guess I should have qualified my request...

October 8 2009, 6:18 PM

by asking for something under $200.00 happy.gif

When Dragon released LPH 4 U.S.S. Boxer in 1/700th, I was hopeful that the "other" class of LPHs would be forthcoming, but it slowly sank in that they were just getting the most from the "Essex" class molds.

Thank you for sharing!

I am so stoked to do the Harrier Carrier (BHR?) from GW2. Generally looks nice, looks as if p/e is included. I fgelt the -53 blades were out of scale, as were the lcac blades, but, that's nothing to fret over. I was surprised to see the ground pounder equipment, hope they sneak a few aavp7's in the mix.

A good friend will be there to bail you out of jail in the morning. A great friend will be sitting next to you, asking "how did we get caught?"

If you look closely at the photos there is an amphib AMTRAC loaded on one of the LCUs. So it looks like they are covering a lot of ground pounding equipment. Looks like:
M923 (or M35)
M109
AMTRAC
M-60
M1-A1
HUMVEE

Wow talk about diorama potential!!! The interior has the vehicle, hanger, and well decks! I cannot wait. I provided some of the drawing background for the kit's development. It has been a while trying to be quiet... Now the secret is out and I cannot wait to get one.

IHS,
Ralph B.

No, sorry

I think you saw LAV's, and the M109 was actually a towed 155 mm howitzer, not sure in Uncle Sam's Miguided Children sport the M109.
Either way, I am sure there will be lots of posibilities!

Looks like Amtracs at the stern of the LCUs, check out the close ups. I an surprised not see any AH-1Zs (easy enough change to make with the AH-1s shown) or any UH-1s.
