Merit has listed a Soviet WW2 G-5 MTB and a British X-Craft Midget Submarine in their 2015 catalog. Both subjects were previously announced by two different companies, but never delivered. Let's hope Merit is better at keeping promises.

If I'm not mistaken, that kit was announced by Masterbox a number of years back.

It looks like it could be pretty impressive in 1/35th!

You are correct!

They announced several different versions, including the one with the rocket launching rails. Masterbox had also listed a 1/35 British 'Horsa' glider, which Bronco is now bringing out. Italeri had listed the X-Craft about two years ago and didn't come through. Maybe Merit, like Bronco, is profiting by whatever legwork both companies had already expended. They might have acquired research material, plans, possibly even molds.
