Thanks Ya'll! On behalf of both of us, we really appreciate the feedback - it's nice to see that we're keeping your interest on this story. This was a fun segment to write and as always, it was great knocking the ideas back and forth with KathyB. It seems that having CC rip Maxwell up was a favorite this week. So ladies, what does that really say about how we all feel about Maxwell and his behavior, hmmm?
We were wondering how people would enjoy the cross 'ship scenes with Max/CC and Niles/Fran (personally, I was wondering if anyone could tell which of us wrote which segments), but I have to admit that for me, Part 8 was the most satisfying part to write together.
Jo - about Anne Reinking - I never saw her on Broadway, but it didn't take much time or research to realize that anyone who could play both Annie and Roxie in their career would be a perfect actress for CC and Max to drool over.
Claudia - yeah, I liked that bit about how CC entered the theater too. In the Fran/Niles segment, my favorite was when Fran described CC.
*... Does this 'friend' happen to be a tall, blonde producer with a fondness for expensive scotch and a ridiculously high limit on her Platinum Visa?"
and Niles response to her incredulity at staying at her place...
*"Well, the benches in Central Park did look awfully inviting, but I figured if I were going to be assaulted, it might as well be by someone I knew."
