Here's a challenge for you. I'm looking for a fiction but I don't remember the title, author, and even the plot escapes me. I do know that it is about Fran and Max and how they get together. Of course Max is apprehensive and 'thinks' too much about it. This births a great line in which Max is thinking about Fran and she comes up to him and asks "What's with the knitting?" As Max looks more confused, she pokes him in between his eyebrows and wonders what has gotten him to think so hard. I would really love to read it because it was a great story, but unfortunately all I can remember is line. Any help/suggestions anyone?

Now i know that one of the fanfics someone had written it but in PG and i read in "R"!!*
it starts off with the continuation of the 3rd sessions episode when fran meets Tony Tatorie!!!!*
The story start off with fran living up to Max's statement "Oh Miss Fine don't chase men find a way to make men chase you!" and continues with Max chasing Miss Fine and ends up inside of his office pushing her to the door, Fran was starting to become afraid by Max's look of anger and tries to get out of the office but it only makes his desire for her grow strongly costing him to begin kissing her passionately which turns into a very hot make out between them then... well can anybody help me find it cause now i really, really want to read it!!!*

The second story i'm looking involved Fran leaving Max and become engaged with a man named David, who ends up dieing at the end leaving Fran with a pain of guilt for kissing Max during their engagement!!!*

It's title is 'Oh, Mr. Sheffield' and can be found in the M-Q archives on the Fan Fiction Page.

It is definitely a 'PG' fic, but there are plenty of 'R' ones there also.

I hope it's not too gauche to be the one answering this question since I'm the author. I noticed TN reruns are being shown again and I became nostalgic for Barb's awesome website. Then I read this posted message and the line you mentioned sounded familiar. So I word-searched the word 'knit' and found out I use that word a LOT in my stories. Three fictions later and I found which story it was.

And I ended up reading it, lol. I found many grammatical errors and also a sub-character's name I changed, but didn't change in a later sentence so that was a confusing part in the story. Oh well...!

Great memories though! I remember changing a bit of the plot halfway into writing it because I didn't want it to be my usual romance story. I had fun with this fic because I was able to combine M/F with N/CC and thread the kids in there as well.

What a pleasure you still out there!! Let me just say that I adore your fanfics. They are such in inspiration and there are often times when I just sit down and reread one of your stories. You are one of those authors I name when someone ask me for a good fanfic to read!

I know I should have looked under your archives since you're one of my favorite authors. The funny thing was I had just read two of your stories the other day and didn't think to look at the other ones. But now I can't wait to go read it! Thanks again.
