There would be no holy spirit if it weren't for the Bible defining it ........ would there? So you can believe whatever you don't want to but -fact remains- the holy spirit only exists and is only defined by Christian tradition.

So .......... WITHIN that confinement, I offered my own perception of the holy spirit. I did so because I believe the NTestament is talking about a phenomenon that exists OUTSIDE of the Christian belief as well, and I too, believe in its existence.

Yes, I know it's female. "Sophia" is what early Christians called her. I have no objection to her being female.

Actually, it's kind of funny because -before I ever became aware of Sophia but as a Christian- I always thought of the trinity as father God, son Jesus and mother holy spirit. (Only "slight problem" there is the impregnation of Mary by the holy spirit. Not quite sure how that could have worked).

Anyhoo, the characteristics of the holy spirit always struck me as being more feminine intuition than male wisdom.
