Have you looked at the regulations corporations must operate under?
Here are just a few examples of the alphabet agencies that run them: OSHA, HUD, SEC, FTC, FDA, USDA, etc, etc, etc.
We have not been a free market since Woodrow Wilson who (along with Congress) gave us the Fed.
In fact, if you look at so-called deregulation, I'd bet you find that we "re-regulated" instead of deregulated.
