Response to Why did God Flood the Earth according to Christian belief?

Nature follows man's consciousness. It is not so much a vengeful God slamming man, but the law of sowing and reaping.

One's thoughts affect the atmosphere. The collected thoughts have a multiplying effect. Man attibutes calamity to God calling it "an act of God". It is not God causing it, but man reaping what he sows.

Scripture records the evolution of man's concept of God. Ancient man saw God as an manlike God showering vengeance on those that transgress.

It took Christ Jesus to reveal God as Father who tenderly cares for His children. By the end of Revelation we see a God who wipes away every tear and brings a new heaven and a new earth where sorrow and death are no more.
