It's been 14 years. This has been slow coming the past 3 or 4 days. Today it hit full bore, acute. Been a long time since I teared up from pain.
Sometimes I get migraines, I've also had sciatica, and quite severe 'roids once or twice. Each of these is something you don't wish on anyone.
While they are all painful, and can be debilitating for stretches, and cause misery, in terms of constant, acute pain, none come close. Other than 'roids during an actual bowel movement. I'd put a smiley here, but if you've ever experienced this you wouldn't be smilin'.
Anyway, just sharing. It's amazing how emotionally draining acute pain can be. It sure make me grateful for my health, and reminds me of those that live in chronic intractable pain, and the great courage these people have.
