Light Never Approaches Darkness

"Light never approaches darkness. The Light, being light, has nothing
in common with darkness so it wants nothing from it. The Light is
unique, all alone, independent, supreme, dominant - it has dominion
over everything.

Darkness on the other hand has a sick compulsion to approach Light
with one aim in mind: to attack in a thousand ways. The darkness
is absolutely compelled to try to make contact. It must try to sneak
in some way because it gets its false mechanical life from attacking
consciousness, but it always loses. When darkness attacks Light and
loses, it gets the thrill of a false feeling of life out of being
defeated, and that is its eternal destiny."
