I wonder just what those instructions were that certain people were privy too.
I think people are getting in to this far too deeply and making a power trip where there is none.
Here's my take on it. Discuss whatever freaking topic you want. If it doesn't interest you, don't respond.
If there's a poster you don't like...ignore them.
Seems pretty f'ing simple to me. Introduce a topic and see if a dialogue progresses. I could personally give a rats ass at this point if it's philosophical, health and nutrition, science...whatever. Just start a discussion and get the hell away from this whole thing about what Mondo wants. Mondo wanted a discussion board without all the petty shit that I've been reading the past few days. Is that happening? No.
I will simply say that I find it extremely ironic that the bent of this board over the past few days with sniping, nit picking, power trips, and "sincerity" are exactly what burnt the damn man out in the first place.
If someone wants to take offense at this, email me. Leave it off the board. If you're offended then I obviously hit a nerve.
I know each and every one of you is trying to do what you think is best on how to support Mondo and I'm sure he appreciates it. Just don't lose sight of what the point of that is by turning this into another bitch and whine site of who is more right, more helpful, more in the loop with Mondo, etc.
