Pam and I share our lives and have grown together. But she likes scrap booking, and I don't. So she does that with other people. I like talking about spiritual things, and that is why I am on the forums to a degree. There are a couple of people I have met out here that are on the same path, and several that are of a similar mindset in some areas -- and yet, we're all on the same journey.
So I get what you mean, I think. There are things that you are very enthusiastic about, which Tim is indifferent towards. I love melodic hardcore punk music. Pam not so much. Last time we had some wine and played our Yahtzee, it was Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles. There are compromises in life.
