But as a pacifist, I'll have to reserve comment on the rest. Well, I am a pacifist. But I do think a bit of discipline never hurt anyone, especially young people of a certain age. That 13-18 age group. A mind isn't fully formed at that point and is prone to falling into bad habits. My own journey took me into drugs at a very young age. Looking back I understand some of the reasons. Something like the above would have helped me focus, and gain some life skills.
