,,,,,never really having looked at evolution and it's alternatives before. I just got a science mag which has an article about DArwin heade with Darwin Was Wrong, Cutting Down Tne Tree of life......
Well, it's another viewpoint.......
I'll have to sidestep on this one - just be an observer.
But from the mag:
"Charles Darwins theory of evolution is itself evolving."
It is now accepted that the tree of life is something we impose on nature in an attempt to make the task of understanding it more tractable.
None of this should give succour to creationists, whose blinkered universe is doubtless already buzzing with the news that New Scientist has announced Darwin was wrong. Expect to find excerpts ripped out of context and presented as evidence that biologists are deserting the theory of evolution en masse. They are not.
I need some quiet tonight and a neat cup of coffee and I'll try and read the whole thing.
