Response to Darwin didn't have the whole picture

"Sure, genus, species, cosmology, etc, so much of what we have are models, metaphors. The menu is not the meal. "

What is 'true' (happy.gif) of a lot of beliefs and ideas. happy.gifhappy.gif

Darwim did say in The origin that he knew there were masses of questions that his 'theory' would bring into 'creation' )happy.gif) and he could see biologists of the future having a bigger picture and hence some more answers............

The New Scientist does say: " Nor will 'the new work' do anyhting to diminish the stadning of Adrwin himself. When it came to gravitation and the laws of motiona, Isaac Newton didn't see the whole picture either, but he remains one of science's giants. In the same way, Darwin's ideas will prove influential for decades to come.

So here's to the impending revolution in biology. Come Darwin's 300th aniversary there will be even more to celebrate."
