Response to Dawkins et al bring us into disreput

There are atheists who, while smugly convinced of their mental superiority over believers in a God, are every bit as narrow minded regarding there being no God as are Fundies in their contention there is.

To revert to my favorite come-back to these closed minded Fundies and Atheists, Sagan said astronomers can see, just in the observable universe, 100 "new" solar systems form every second. This has to have a Cause. I do not believe this Cause to be in the form of the Christian God, but to deny Cause is, in my mind, ludicrous.

On one of the planets in our observable universe, planet Earth, not very intelligent life forms appeared. These life forms evolved, developed, matured (choose you favorite word), from earth to become a da Vinci or an Einstein. Something had to cause this. To me, whatever this Cause is...is God.

I believe in Intelligent design. Unintelligent is probably a better word but that denotes degree, quality. I am convinced there is a reality about which we poor sluggards haven't a clue. For Dawkins, or anyone else, to believe they have nailed this ever-changing reality, similar I believe to our ever-changing mind, therefore our "now" reality, is the epitome of self delusion. Forty years ago (to cite just one example) I "believed" I knew what reincarnation meant. That was my what turned out to be my not so intelligent design, my reality. Well, as I later discovered, I didn't know what the hell I was talking about. Is my current "design" reference reincarnation (or anything else for that matter) intelligent? Well, yes, but of what quality?
