I might have done that but no more.
As one gets old, the brain becomes foggy. It's not that theoretical knowledge slides away; it's just that retention for quick implementation ... disappears. You can't hold a bunch of things in your head at the same time like young people can. You start to implement an idea and then forget what it was you were going to do!~
Yeah, cell phone privacy is now largely a "joke" but ...
What's the deal? 30 years ago, ANYONE could go tap a couple of wires and listen in to any conversation on telephone they wished ... legal or not. They can still do it with land line phones.
Realistically, how many people are "out there" tapping cell phone conversations .... now that they can?!? Only those with determination and enough technical skill. So cellphone conversation is still every bit as private as land line communication.
This incredible obsession with privacy has gotten way out of proportion. The more they try to get privacy, the worse it gets because it give hackers a challenge. There are just so MANY ways and angles to crack stuff.
Any determined "spy" is going to find some way to get what he's after. He always goes for the weakest link too .... not the toughest one! It's the weak ones so few people think about.
