I followed up on this page you referenced
the other day, Jackie. The first section of 5 segments is no longer available on Youtube, due to A&E complaints, (and neither are the other shorts in that list), but I was able to watch and save the first segment of THE MEN WHO KILLED KENNEDY by installing a special "Veoh Web Player" into a virtual machine and then watching it as a single 51 minute piece. (Not sure if the other short segments will be available in the Veoh Player format).
Anyway, there was a LOT of new interesting stuff I'd never seen before and I was very grateful for that!
One of the things that struck me was the "Corsican connection". That is ... these hit men were brought in by the Mafia from outside of the U.S. The researcher on that first segment had interviewed a French fellow who gave him a good piece of the story. According to that story, the hit men holed up in Dallas for 10 days after the assassination and then flew out to Montreal.
Well THAT bit of info suddenly brought something back to my memory. I remember reading or hearing an account of a fellow who'd been sitting in a Montreal cafe, about 2 weeks after the assassination and overhearing this group of men in another booth, DISCUSSING the assassination. They were speaking in Italian, (if I remember correctly) and didn't expect anyone to understand them ... but the guy did. I believe he went to the RCMP with his information but nothing ever came of it.
At the time I heard or read this, I thought, "oh sure ... just ANOTHER weird spin-off theory!~"
NOW ... it makes far more sense! I've searched the internet but I can't find any reference to that cafe story anywhere. I sure wish I could recall more of the details on that.
