...runny honey with lemon as it stands or, as my mum did just before Christmas, add it to you noraml cup of tea!

I will say I am a real garlic fan. Garlic realy is a natural antibiotic and can be used as anti-inflammatory, along with GINGER (

) in many recipes to help artheritic pains.
I eat it raw!! Luckily, hubby is a fan as well. haha...
One can have a garlic tea to help soothe coughs. A hot ginger drink! This does work. Of course, I just put in too mcuh ginger, it was really something!
Mince the garlic and add to hot water, or vice versa. I just grated ginger into hot water.
I know supplements might be easier to take but onw can get used to the natural ways. I find they are much more quicker and direct in effect.
Oh, how lovely! I just checked out some recipes on the net and found this really yummy sounding one (for me anyway...smile)
Ginger Tea
1 inch or so fresh ginger root, sliced thin or grated
1/2 a fresh lemon, sliced (peel & all)
1 clove garlic, mashed
~2 c water
Very generous spoonful honey
Place water, ginger, lemon, & garlic in saucepan; bring to boil, then turn down heat and simmer gently for 20 min. Strain into mugs and add lots of honey. The tea
will get stronger if you let it sit! Most invigorating!
Invigorating is the word! I am not lying, Pope, even as I am reading this recipe, I can taste it so clearly and am hotting up. Haha!
Actually, this looks like a real worthwhile site, so I am adding it to my faves.

A hot facial steam bath is quite good for nasal congestion as well. Neat as a facial full stop. A real natural facial, followed by a lemon splash or fruit of your choice.

It does seem that the best stuff may not be the nicest tasting! But this stuff can work well!
