Response to Well, I am still building up my little herbary cabinet, but... |

Is one of my Cold Standards.
When I buy the fixin's for my Chicken Soup...
-- I always pick up five or six lemons.
A squeeze of fresh lemon juice for each bowl of soup...
Another squeeze for each cup of tea...
-- A spoonful of honey adds comfort to the mix.
And...
Oh yeah...
Lots of Garlic in the Soup...!
-- Mmmmmmm... good stuff.
So far...
The best Expectorant I've found is...
-- Guaifenesin.
It's derived from the gum of the Guaiac Tree...
-- latin name, "lignus vitae"... "Wood of Life".
Gotta admit though...
Since Big Pharma has it already prepared, packaged and sitting on the shelf...
I just pick up a bottle of Robitusin along with the Soup Fixin's.
