what doesn't kill you ... makes you stronger!~

Depends how much radiation is being continually received. What kind? What wavelengths? I certainly don't cherish the idea of having a "modest amount" of plutonium in my system which I can never get out rid of. And certainly, those who are heavily dosed do NOT come out the better for it. They die within 3 weeks. They even KNOW that there's no chance of their surviving more than a few weeks.
